Arsenal Operation Set in CS2: For Those Craving Something New

Arsenal Operation Set in CS2: For Those Craving Something New

In one of the latest updates, VALVE introduced a massive batch of new skins. The community had been eagerly awaiting this kind of celebration, as in the year following the transition to Counter-Strike 2, the developers only added one case. With each passing day, you can increasingly spot items from the Arsenal operation on game servers, so we’ve decided to compile a complete set of skins from the recently released collections. We also kept a consistent color scheme, this time focusing on blue and purple tones.

Driver Gloves | Imperial Plaid

Driver Gloves | Imperial Plaid
  • Minimal wear – $825.52
  • Field-tested – $429.01
  • Well-worn – $416.35
  • Battle Scarred – $289.08

Let’s start with the only item not related to the Arsenal operation. Unfortunately, no new gloves were introduced in this update, but we can’t leave the set with default agent hands. We chose these purple gloves with a large tartan pattern, which will pair excellently with most of our skins. As mentioned earlier, the set focuses on blue and purple shades, so the blue textured material on the inside of the gloves fits perfectly here. You’ll see later on that this was the best choice for this set.

Kukri Knife | Blue Steel

Driver Gloves | Imperial Plaid
  • Factory new – $574.97
  • Minimal wear – $424.14
  • Field-tested – $345.00
  • Well-worn – $335.00
  • Battle Scarred – $318.55

The selection for the knife slot was quite limited since the Gallery Case from the Arsenal operation only includes one model – the Kukri. Unfortunately, no new colorways were added, so the rare item from this container is a repeat from the Kilowatt case. It would’ve been great to see a Kukri | Waves in the third or second phase in this set, but we’ve chosen the best-fitting Blue Steel. The blade underwent a bluing process, resulting in patches of light blue, purple, and green hues. If you’re a fan of patina marks on blades, you might want to check out the Well-worn or Battle-scarred qualities.

USP-S | Alpine Camo

USP-S | Alpine Camo
  • Factory new – $4.49
  • Minimal wear – $2.03
  • Field-tested – $1.27
  • Well-worn – $1.52
  • Battle Scarred – $0.77

This skin features a cold color scheme, dominated by shades of blue and purple. The camo pattern is carefully detailed with smooth transitions between dark and light tones, adding depth and an icy calmness to the look. We hope this calmness transfers to the player when trying to land a headshot with the USP-S in an important pistol round. Camouflage patterns in CS2 aren’t new, but this particular color combination hasn’t been seen before, and it feels like it might appear on other weapons in the future. Considering its $5 price, it’s a great addition to our inventory, well worth the money.

Glock-18 | AXIA

Glock-18 | AXIA
  • Factory new – $88.74
  • Minimal wear – $59.86
  • Field-tested – $56.20
  • Well-worn – $59.14
  • Battle Scarred – $56.96

A beautifully designed skin where the blending of styles only enhances the look, making the terrorist pistol feel highly detailed and cohesive. The top portion is finished in a metallic style, creating a polished, armored surface effect. In bright light, the slide gives the illusion of movement, as though the weapon is covered with a living material, reminiscent of a mythical creature’s skin. The rest of the body contrasts with a shiny, textured surface. It looks striking, but it avoids the cheap, sticker-like feel that some shiny skins have.

AWP | Crakow!

AWP | Crakow!
  • Factory new – $437.39
  • Minimal wear – $156.80
  • Field-tested – $95.16
  • Well-worn – $55.00
  • Battle Scarred – $39.64

For some unknown reason, this pink skin featuring a little girl and her robot, which look like characters from a children’s game, is named after one of Poland’s cities. Yes, that city is closely tied to the competitive CS scene, but we couldn’t find the connection. However, this doesn’t matter here—the main thing is the visual appeal of the skin. The new sniper rifle texture suits the design perfectly and even gives off a slight toy gun vibe. Various inscriptions, graphic elements, and drips combine to create a cool yet contradictory feel. The skin looks like a top-notch design by an experienced artist or a child’s vivid drawing. Such contrasting emotions make this skin unforgettable, ensuring you’ll be the most talked-about player in public servers.

AK-47 | B the Monster

AK-47 | B the Monster
  • Factory new – $1,745.40
  • Minimal wear – $686.17
  • Field-tested – $332.72
  • Well-worn – $634.64
  • Battle Scarred – $150.00

This skin is inspired by the famous monster tunnel on the Overpass map, and its design brings the street art atmosphere straight onto the weapon. The main element is bright and chaotic graffiti in the style of street artists. The central character is a terrifying monster with a huge mouth and piercing eyes, seemingly ready to bite the finger on your trigger. Metallic gold accents adorn certain parts of the skin, adding a premium feel and highlighting the contrast with the grim and aggressive graffiti.

M4A1-S | Vaporwave

M4A1-S | Vaporwave
  • Factory new – $385.98
  • Minimal wear – $248.71
  • Field-tested – $129.83
  • Well-worn – $108.14
  • Battle Scarred – $66.85

Most players probably expected to see Fade on the M4A1-S, but as that’s from an older collection, it doesn’t offer the fresh feel we’re going for. Plus, it faces worthy competition for a spot in this set, and rightly so. The rifle’s design is done in a unique style, inspired by classical elements of the Greco-Roman era. A majestic statue, reminiscent of ancient gods or heroes, is depicted on the main body, with sharply defined features. The other elements are intentionally distorted, creating a dreamlike, hypnotic effect. Using this device feels like wielding a true piece of art, straight off the walls of a museum like the Louvre or the Hermitage.

M4A4 | Polysoup

M4A4 | Polysoup
  • Factory new – $29.40
  • Minimal wear – $14.37
  • Field-tested – $9.16
  • Well-worn – $7.16
  • Battle Scarred – $6.53

This M4A4 immediately caught our eye with its simple design, focusing on a pearlescent inscription and crystal images. The crystals shimmer and shift colors depending on the light, creating a bright, multi-faceted effect. Each crystal is detailed, with sharp edges that shine in deep blue, bright purple, and sunny yellow hues. This gives the weapon not only visual appeal but also the illusion of depth, as if the surface is covered in precious gems.

The biggest advantage of the new skins is that they are all based on the textures of weapons from CS2. With the transition to the current version of the game, the appearance of pistols, rifles, and snipers has been slightly modified, but not all skins managed to transition to the updated models. So, let’s leave nostalgia for the old textures behind, along with memories of the old gun sounds, and refresh our inventory with these new items.

Of course, purchasing skins right now is quite risky, as prices may drop, so it’s best to place buy orders and track them with the SIH extension. Steam Inventory Helper will help you set a reasonable price for the item and show how many competitors you have in the battle for these skins.
